Halo Combat Evolved Surprise Release On Steam: System Requirements Revealed

The hype is finally over. The legend has returned.

The game which was called as "the definitive reason to own an Xbox" by the reviewers, is finally here again. After 17 years, Halo: Combat Evolved is finally back on PC, but this time in a fancier way as Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary has joined The Master Chief Collection on PC.

All these years it was quite the hard time for Halo fans who only had PC,
as only the first 2 of all Halo games were released on PC, because of Microsoft's ownership of the game and thier decision to make it Xbox exclusive afterwards. But in 2019 they finally released Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC through Steam. The collection includes 6 of the 7 already released AAA titles of Halo which are Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo Reach and Halo 4. The Master Chief Collection was released on Steam on 4th December, 2019 with Halo Reach. Once the collection is purchased, all the games are set to update as they get released throughout the entire 2020.

So, here it is. Finally,
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary has joined the MCC family and the community loves it. Although it didn't get much positive reviews when it was initially launched back in 2011, but 343 Industries finally showed that they are here for the fans. They looked into the feedback of the community and it does show in the newer version of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. It is very much optimized for low end PC's and the game looks absolutely gorgeous. It is definitely here to make us feel overwhelmed with it's massive and beautiful universe.

Although 343 did actually post some snippets on 29th February, hinting the release of Halo: CEA, but absolutely no one could guess it would be released this quickly out of nowhere. Even channels like HaloFollower and BBKDRAGOON, people who are involved more in the inside did speculate that it would be released by next month, but 343 surprised us all.

It was a quite smart decision from 343 to release the MCC on PC just at the end of 2019, as their newest edition Halo 6: Infinite will be released in 2020. Thus, it will help more people to involve into the games before the big number comes out. Also, as they are going to launch Halo 6: Infinite with Xbox's newest specification 'Project Scarlett', it is safe to say that the MCC has a big role to play before that and the developers do seem to have full confidence on this.

If there's anyone who is new and is confused with these 6 games, no need to worry, as all the games of Halo: The Master Chief Collection are being released in a chronological order, so you'll get to know exactly how the epic story of Halo unfolds. Just, don't forget to indulge in the amazing multiplayer base that Halo has to offer. Today's market is changing rapidly and it is quite nice to see developers reaching out to the community and working alongside them. Halo: The Master Chief Collection is available on Steam for $9.99.

"Because humanity was and is worth saving", we hope that this iconic game finally regains the love and popularity it deserves.
