The author of the book Sadhguru was born on 3rd September 1957 in Mysore, Karnataka. Our beloved Sadhguru's name is Jaggi Vasudev who completed his graduation from the University Of Mysore. After completion his graduation he left studies to take over the family business. At the age of 23, Sadhguru handed his business to his friend and started his new journey to walk in the path of spiritual knowledge. He is often seen using his vast spiritual knowledge in his lectures. Sadhguru is a great speaker as well as an author, who mostly speaks about the truths of life and the inefficiencies the human beings bring into their lives.

Sadhguru, the founder of Isha Foundation, located at the foothills of the Velliangiri Mountains is an organization involved in activities related to education, environment and spirituality, received Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian award in India.

In his previous books and lectures, Sadhguru never gave his opinion on death. This book is the only medium through which he shared his view on death. The book gives a very different way of looking into death. Through his book Sadhguru has spoken about Karma, which he says is the concrete to hold the body and soul together. He has also mentioned how can one be in contact after death.

He in the book stated that after death, the person is still around but not every death's presence can be felt and it totally depends on the Karma.
