Real Madrid played Levante away from Home on Sunday that ended up in a surprise 1-0 defeat for the away side. The defeat costed Real Madrid the top spot on the table to their arch rival Barcelona who they will be facing on next Monday (02/03/2020). Barcelona thrashed Eibar 5-0 to take a 2 point lead on Real Madrid.
The first chance came to Real Madrid as early as the 11th minute to Benzema from an Isco pass which ended up with a weak low shot saved by Fernandez. All the chances that were created by the Real Madrid midfield ended up without leaving a mark on the score sheet for Real Madrid.
